Step 1 — revoke access from your account immediately
This stops kapydata from reading any further data from your account immediately, without waiting for us:
- Facebook / Instagram — Settings → Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations) → find “kapydata” → Remove.
- Google — myaccount.google.com/permissions → find “kapydata” → Remove access.
Step 2 — request deletion of already stored data
Revoking access in step 1 prevents any further reading, but it does not automatically delete what we already have stored (the saved access token and connection settings). We delete that as follows:
- If you have your own kapydata account (you are a member of the team that connected the account) — sign in, open Connections and click “Remove” next to the account. The stored access token and connection settings are deleted from our database immediately and irreversibly.
- If you don't have a kapydata account (your Facebook/Instagram/Google account was connected by an agency or a client you work with) — e-mail us at info@kapydata.app with the name of the account/page you want removed. We will delete the connection and all data stored for it within 5 business days and confirm by e-mail.
What exactly we delete
The stored access token of the connection and its settings (name, selected accounts/pages). Performance figures (spend, impressions, reach, etc.) are never stored permanently — they are fetched live when a report is viewed, so once the connection is removed we no longer have any source to load them from again.
